Under Alkhidmat Foundation, 2100 more families have been given Ramadan food packages in Lahore

LAHORE, April 4 (SABAH): Under Alkhidmat Foundation, 2100 more families have been given Ramadan food packages in Lahore.

For this purpose, a simple but dignified ceremony was held at township. Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Syed Ihsanullah Waqas, President Alkhidmat Central Punjab Ikramul Haq Subhani and other office-bearers participated in the ceremony. On this occasion, while addressing the ceremony, Syed Ihsanullah Waqas said that it is old tradition of Alkhidmat Foundation to provide Ramadan food packages to destitute of the society under which millions of families are provided with these packages.

He said for the purpose ration hubs have been made in the country where Alkhidmat’s local team conduct surveys and issue tokens to deserving families and that family receives its ration. He said this ration pack contains flour, rice, oil, sugar, tea, palms, pulses, and other edibles. He said the distribution of these packages have been continuing since beginning of Ramadan.

On this occasion, Ikramul Haq Subhani said that inflation has badly affected destitute of the society and purpose of distributing these packages is to ensure their pleasures on the occasion of eid. He said its purpose is to lessen their burden so that they could observe fast easily. Along with this, he said Alkhidmat Foundation also organizing sehr and iftar during the holy month of Ramadan.
