Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar appointed as Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, April 28 (SABAH): Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan.
The notification issued by the Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Division, Cabinet Secretariat read as under:
No.2-4/2013-Min,1,- The Prime Minister has been pleased to designate Mr. Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, as Deputy Prime Minister with immediate effect and until further orders.
The notification has been issued by the Cabinet Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal on Sunday.
The copy of the notification has been sent to Secretary to the President, Secretary to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, All Federal Ministers. Ministers of State, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Secretaries/Additional Secretaries Incharge of the Ministries/Divisions, Secretaries, Senate and National Assembly, Chief Secretaries of Provincial Governments, AGPR, Islamabad and PIO, PID, Islamabad.
