Freedom of Palestine & Kashmir is a debt on the entire Muslim Ummah: Liaqat Baloch


LAHORE, April 28 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that freedom of Palestine and Kashmir is a debt on the entire Muslim Ummah. He said that war crimes of Israel and India are becoming black chapters of history.

Liaqat Baloch participated in ceremony on the invitation of Pir Tariqat Munawar Shah Jamaati and Chairman of Rabita Ulema and Mashaikh Pakistan. He also held meeting with Mufti Dr. Mehmood Yousaf Muhammad of Gaza Palestine. He held meeting with a delegation of farmers.

He said that for the sake of freedom, independence and respect there is a need to get free from the clutches of the US, Europe and India.  He said that freedom of Palestine and Kashmir are a debt on the entire Ummah. Due to protracted carelessness, the masses of Palestine and Kashmir are suffering and war crimes of Israel and India are becoming black chapters of history, he added.

Liaqat Baloch said that 250 million people of Pakistan are ready to assist Palestinians. He stressed upon Islamic world that it should make a joint strategy on defence, economy, education and technology. He said that countries like Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and others should hold meeting to get free the Islamic world from crisis while playing their important role. He said that prime minister and president of Pakistan should play a role for unity of Islamic world.

Liaqat Baloch said that instead of making durable to the development of agriculture, the rulers are stick to destroy agriculture. Due to carelessness in timely purchase of wheat and its storage there is a threat of wheat smuggling abroad, he said. He said this would result in deficiency of wheat and food security related issues in the future. He said that federal and provincial governments are busy in propagating them through news and are not concerned about the public issues. He said that burden of electricity, petrol, gas and water bills has become unbearable for the people. He stressed upon the governments, Parliament and provincial assemblies to sort out public issues.
