President Zardari approves appointments of Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Faisal Karim Kundi & Jafar Khan Mandokhel as Governors of Punjab, KP & Balochistan

ISLAMABAD, May 04 (SABAH): President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the appointment of Governors of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has been approved as Governor of Punjab, Faisal Karim Kundi as Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Jafar Khan Mandokhel has been approved as Governor of Balochistan. The approvals have been accorded under Article 101 (1) of the Constitution.

Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Faisal Karim Kundi belong to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Jafar Khan Mandokhel belongs to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). The appointment of the governors has been approved by President Asif Ali Zardari in the aftermath of the meeting between PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday.
