Peace could not be established in the world without resolving old issues like Kashmir & Palestine: Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD, April 30 (SABAH): Central Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Fazil Tabbasum held meeting with former emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq and exchanged views on Kashmir conflict besides other issues.

On the occasion, Sirajul Haq said that peace could not be established in the world without resolving old issues like Kashmir and Palestine. The rulers of Muslim ummah are playing role of mute spectators in spite of 37,000 sacrifices of Palestinians.

He said that rulers of Pakistan should have taken measures in the light of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s policy on Palestine issue. He said our rulers have crossed red line in the slavery of the US, adding International Monetary Fund (IMF) pressurizes all the institutions.

He further said that sacrifices of Kashmiris and Palestinians will not go waste, adding they would obtain freedom. If Jamaat-e-Islami would have been voted to power they would have been in Gaza, he said, and added if Joe Biden could go to Israel then why they could not go to Gaza. He said due to coward rulers, India is inflicting cruelties in Kashmir and Israel is inflicting cruelties in Palestine.

Replying to a question, Sirajul Haq said that if the government did not fulfill its responsibilities regarding Palestine then Jamaat-e-Islami would hold Gaza March from Karachi to Khyber to awaken the Pakistani nation about the cruelties being committed by Israel. Raja Fazil Tabbasum paid tributes to Sirajul Haq for his efforts regarding freedom of occupied Kashmir, adding the Kashmiri nation would always remember his sacrifices.

He said that Sirajul Haq facilitated debate on budget of Azad Kashmir in the Senate due to which its budget was increased. During the meeting, Syed Muhammad Bilal and Raja Umair Mir were also present.
