Palestinians have many expectations from Pakistan but they are not preference of rulers & national leadership: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, May 2 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that Palestinians have many expectations from Pakistan but they are not preference of rulers and national leadership due to which important issues like Palestine and Kashmir have been ignored. He said the unity of Muslim Ummah is the solution of the problems.

While addressing National Palestine Conference at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Liaqat Baloch said that those Islamic countries which recognized Israel they suffered from loss. He said the religious parties should take up issues like supremacy of the Holy Quran and Sunnah from their own platforms.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Asad Qaisar and Hussain Akhunzada also contacted Liaqat Baloch. A delegation of opposition parties will come to Mansoorah to hold meeting with Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman.

Liaqat Baloch said that Palestine and Kashmir are most important issues for the entire Muslim Ummah and are like jugular vein for it. He said people of Gaza have given unmatched sacrifices in response to Israel cruelties and barbaric acts. He said that sacrifices of Palestinians and cruelties of Israel have awakened the entire world.

He further said that students in the US and European universities and people who have sympathies for human beings are protesting against the cruelties of Israel. The valiant people of Gaza introduced a new culture of forbearance to the world, he said, and added the US, British and their friends are denting the peace and economy of the world.

He said the failure of the United Nations and its role surprised everyone and on the other side apathy of leadership of Muslim world is also clear. He said Palestinians have many expectations from Pakistan but they are not preference of rulers and national leadership due to which important issues like Palestine and Kashmir have been ignored. He said unity of ummah is the solution of the problems. 

Liaqat Baloch further said that religious parties have separate viewpoint regarding politics, national stance and strategies. He said the religious national leadership should come together to ponder over national priorities. He said the national and religious leadership should take up issues like supremacy of Quran and Sunnah from their own platforms.
