Mohsin Naqvi emphasizes the need for greater collaboration b/w Pak & Iran to address the challenges such as that of terrorism


ISLAMABAD, April 20 (SABAH): Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi has emphasized the need for greater collaboration between Pakistan and Iran to address the challenges such as that of terrorism.

Talking to the Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam in Islamabad, Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan values its brotherly relations with Iran. He said that there is need to further promote the bilateral cooperation for durable peace and long lasting stability in the region.

They also held discussion regarding the upcoming visit of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Pakistan and the agreements to be signed during high level visit. They also discussed the proposed agreements going to be singed during the visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan.

Iranian Ambassador informed Mohsin Naqvi about the details of Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan. Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam also congratulated Mohsin Naqvi on assuming the responsibilities of interior minister and also appreciated his performance as caretaker chief minister Punjab.
