Youm-e-Istehsal rally taken out from Foreign Office to Parliament House to express solidarity with Kashmiri people
ISLAMABAD, August 05 (SABAH): In connection with Youm-e-Istehsal, a rally was taken out from Foreign Office to Parliament House in Islamabad on Friday to express solidarity with oppressed Kashmiri people. The rally was led by Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life including parliamentarians participated in the rally.
Carrying banners, the participants chanted slogans in support of Kashmiri people and against the Indian atrocities.
Speaking to the participants of the rally at D-Chowk, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Pakistan’s commitment with Kashmir is everlasting and it will never dilute because of internal situation. Khawaja Asif said that we being a nation should time and again reiterate the resolve that our commitment with Kashmir is unparallel and it will never be decreased, adding that the internal situation of Pakistan will never weaken our this resolve.
Khawaja Asif said that there is need of expressing the solidarity, commitment, love with the Kashmir cause in more effective manner by Pakistan, Pakistan’s political leadership and people living in whole country. Khawaja Asif thanked the Foreign Office for organizing the program.
In his remarks, Adviser to PM on Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira said the Kashmiri people have been braving the Indian atrocities over the last seven decades and sacrificed over one hundred thousand lives. He said every Pakistani is aware of its national responsibility and stands by their Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Qamar Zaman Kaira said that we assure our brothers and sisters living in occupied Kashmir that every child and individual of Pakistan is aware of his national responsibility. Kaira said that until and unless the Kashmiris secure their freedom and Pakistan’s freedom is not completed out mission will remain continue, adding that the resolve of people on both sides of the line of control will not be broken. Kaira said that we are with the legitimate case of Kashmir, which is not only the case of their freedom but also the program of completion of Pakistan’s freedom.
