World peace interlinked with resolving Palestinian & Kashmir issue as per aspirations of people of Palestine & Kashmir: Raja Pervez Ashraf


ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (SABAH): Speaker National Assembly and Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that the United Nations emerged as a ray of hope for the whole world before 78 years. He also said that Pakistan has been an active member of the UNO since its establishment. He also underscored that the role Pakistani missions in the peace operations around the world  has been reflective of Pakistan’ supportive  stance for UNO. He expressed these views in his message on the day of United Nations Organisation.

ja Pervez Ashraf also said that prominent goal of formation of the UNO was to maintain global peace. He also reiterated that establishment of global peace is interlinked with resolution of   Palestinian and Kashmir issue as per UNO resolutions. He said that nefarious and barbaric policies of India and Israel has become stark clear especially atrocities and barbarity committed by Israelites especially on innocent children and women. He also said that the right to self-determination of the people of Palestine and Kashmir cannot be suppressed by cruelty and coercion. He also stressed on the need to play a proactive role to immediately halt the genocide of the oppressed Palestinian and Kashmiri people by Israel and India. He also said that the United Nations should take notice of the violations of basic human rights in Palestine and Kashmir.

Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the government and people of Pakistan stand with UNO to eliminate terrorism. He also said that Pakistan has always condemned terrorism in any region of the world as Pakistan has played the role of a frontline state in the war against terrorism. He added, “The sacrifices rendered by Pakistani forces in the UN peacekeeping mission are unmatchable.”
