WHO in collaboration with UAE organize the largest medical evacuation from Gaza since October, 2023

GAZA, Sep 13 (SABAH): World Health Organization (WHO), in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates, organized on Thursday the largest medical evacuation from Gaza since October, 2023.

On Friday, WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that 97 sick and severely injured patients and 155 companions were transported via Kerem Shalom to Ramon Airport in Israel for onward travel to Abu Dhabi for specialized care.

Meanwhile Israeli forces have martyred at least 50 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank since launching raids on August 28. The continuing offensive is the biggest there since the second intifada of the early 2000s.
