We will approach higher judiciary against 26th constitutional amendment & to people’s court on electricity bills: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

SARGODHA, Oct 27 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that we will approach the higher judiciary against the 26th constitutional amendment and to the people’s court on electricity bills.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in Sargodha on Sunday. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Punjab North Dr. Tariq Saleem and District Emir Awais Qasim were also present on this occasion.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said after the nationwide referendum, the important phase of “Haq Do Awam Ko Tehreek” will begin. The mission of the imposed rulers is to spoil the constitution, institutions and the people, he said and added there is unity among the oppressive rulers of the country while the nation is divided, the ruling elite, immersed in corruption up to its neck has the control on resources and these people do not even pay taxes.

He said, “Together they destroyed the national institutions, imposed the punishment of IPPs and inflation on the people, the people will have to unite and throw out the imposed rulers, we will hold a referendum to boycott the bills, let the rulers know. I want that if IPPs are not reined in, the nation will not pay the bills.”

The question is asked to the rulers, who destroyed the profitable national institutions? Now they are bidding for destroyed institutions and no buyers are available, he said and added the elites who have been controlling the national treasury like snakes with the power of landlords and capital have deprived the people of their basic rights. He said our children are not even getting quality education, adding schools are also being handed over to NGOs.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman further said that the Jamaat-e-Islami will resist against this oppression and they will expose the corrupt rulers in the public. He said we have raised the “Haq Du Tehreek” for the sake of public awareness and organize them, adding if you will sit down in despair, the rulers will be free to loot. He said learn a lesson to live from the Palestinians, adding be a part of Jamaat-e-Islami movement and bring revolution in the country.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that 26th constitutional amendment is full of flaws and the fake rulers imposed by Form 47 have absolutely no right to spoil the agreed Constitution. He said that Constitution guarantees fundamental rights; it talks about abolition of usury; promotion of national language; provision of justice and formulation of laws according to Quran and Sunnah while the rulers do not care about all these matters.
