We took Pakistan out of grey-list through tough decisions; all should be on the same page for uplift of economy: Maulana Fazl
KARACHI, Dec 02 (SABAH): Emir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fzl (JUI-F) and President Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday questioned on whom orders politics of Moonis Elahi’s politics as well as his decisions change [everyone knows this]. He said former Pakistani prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain took a prudent decision commensurate with the circumstances whereas all need to be united with a view of repairing dents of the economy.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed these views during his media talk at Karachi. While identifying weaknesses of Moonis Elahi, the Maulana remarked that his politics and decisions were affected with someone else signals and furthered that questions about him should be put forth to him instead of before him. He noted that seasoned politician Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain took decision in the light of his conscious, saying his family to follow his footprints.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further said that Pakistan had been exited from the grey-list and there is a need to go ahead now. He said the country was on the brink of bankruptcy which forced us to take hard decisions; however, every citizen ought to play his part in the uplift of country’s economy. He stressed upon the business community to cooperate with government for bringing improvement in the economy of the country.
