Waris Mir Memorial Seminar to be held tomorrow at Alhamra Arts Council Hall Lahore; President Zardari to preside over the seminar

LAHORE, July 08 (SABAH): On the occasion of the death anniversary of the prominent writer and journalist Professor Waris Mir, Waris Mir Memorial Seminar will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Alhamra Arts Council Hall Mall Road, Lahore at 4:00 PM. Waris Mir Foundation has organized the seminar. President Asif Ali Zardari as a chief guest will preside over the seminar and will shed light on the democratic struggle and thoughts of Professor Waris Mir.

President Asif Ali Zardari on the occasion will confer Professor Waris Mir Award upon the three top position holders at the School of Communication Studies Punjab University. Senior journalist and anchorperson Hamid Mir and Sohail Waraich will also address the seminar.
