Usman Buzdar, Imran Khan discuss political situation

LAHORE, Dec 13 (SABAH): Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmed Khan Buzdar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed matters pertaining to political situation.

Punjab Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal, IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan and Principal Secretary Punjab Chief Minister Amir Jan also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the chief minister gave a detailed briefing to the prime minister on the political situation in the province, administrative matters and the ongoing operation against hoarders across Punjab.

The meeting was also briefed on the law and order situation in Punjab and steps taken to improve governance. Appreciating the measures taken by the Punjab Government, PM Imran Khan instructed for further improvement.

Meanwhile Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Lahore on Monday. The Governor briefed the Prime Minister about his visits to Turkey and Britain.

The Prime Minister was also apprised on the appreciation of the government’s steps and plans vis a vis climate change at the international level.
