US pressure & blackmailing should be rejected, President or Prime Minister should immediately visit Iran: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, April 24 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch has said that the US pressure and blackmailing should be rejected. He said the President or Prime Minister should immediately visit Iran.

In a statement, Liaqat Baloch said that if the relations between the US and Iran are not well then why Pakistan is being targeted in this regard. He said that Israel is an illegal state and a curse for international peace. He said that Pakistan sacrificed the national interests in front of the US blackmailing for over 70 years due to which the country’s relations with Afghanistan, Iran and China remained coldhearted whereas its unfair support of India on Occupied Kashmir damaged interests of Pakistan.

Liaqat Baloch said time has come that government of Pakistan should give importance to state, parliament and national interests. He said that open debate should be done in the Parliament and the US pressure and blackmailing should be rejected. He said that the trade relations between Pakistan and the US are in accordance with the US rules and regulations.

He said if there are coldhearted relations between the US and Iran then why Pakistan is being targeted whereas the US has shut eyes on relations between Iran and India. He said trade and independent relations are basic human rights of every country. Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that masses of Pakistan wanted good relations with neighboring countries including China, Iran and Afghanistan which is why the government should not violate the masses emotions.

Liaqat Baloch also welcomed the visit of Iran’s President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi to Pakistan and termed it better for the region. He said that President of Pakistan or Prime Minister should immediately visit Iran. He said the same viewpoint of Pakistan and Iran on Palestine issue is victory of Palestinian people.
