Unity of Ummah & a single agenda of Islamic World on defense, finance, external fronts is indispensable: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, April 14 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and Secretary General Milli Yekjehti Council, Liaqat Baloch has said that unity of Ummah and a single agenda of Islamic World on defence, finance and external fronts was indispensable.
Liaqat Baloch expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in connection with Pakistan Day, Yaum-ul-Quds Conference and Khatm al-Quran on Friday. He further said that freedom of Pakistan on the 27th of Ramadan enjoys paramount significance at Islamic ideological and regional levels. When Pakistan came into existence, a long-term conspiracy was woven against the Muslims of occupied valley of Jammu and Kashmir in South Asia while with Palestinians by establishing illegal state of Israel in Middle East, he deplored.
Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that India has been inflicting barbaric acts against the innocent Kashmiris through falsehood as well as with the support of anti-Islam powers while the US, Europe and Israel were inflicting barbarism on the Muslims praying in Al Aqsa Mosque in the holy month of Ramadan. He was of the view that Israel was an unjustified state as that of the illegal occupation of India on Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistan’s survival depends on giving befitting answer to India’s nefarious designs whereas Israel must not be recognized at any cost, he urged and added that policy of the government of Pakistan was becoming suspicious on Kashmir and Palestine disputes. He stressed upon the government to express its clear stance on the matter through presenting a policy resolution in the Parliament.
Baloch stressed upon the unity of Ummah and forging a single agenda of Islamic World on defence, finance and external fronts and added that restoration of relations among Iran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Syria besides ceasefire in Yemen was good news for Muslim Ummah. He added time has come to embrace the victory of Afghanistan’s masses as well as the government of Taliban.
Liaqat Baloch also stressed upon the need of full court formation while putting aside ego and stubbornness elements lest the situation reaches the point of no return in the form of enforcement of emergency or someone else on these lines.
