United Nations should play an important role in ending genocide of Palestinians: Sirajul Haq

KARACHI, Oct 10 (SABAH): Former Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the only solution to all the problems of the Muslim Ummah from Gaza to Palestine lies in its unity. The United Nations and international conscience must play an important role in ending the genocide of Palestinians.

Sirajul Haq expressed these views during the discussion on the occasion of his visit to the provincial office on Thursday. Sirajul Haq visited the former Central Deputy Emir JI Asadullah Bhutto and also prayed for his speedy and complete recovery. On this occasion, Provincial Emir Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, Maulana Muhammad Din Mansoori, Mujahid Chana and Zahid Hussain Rajpar were also present.

Former emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that one year has completed since Israeli terrorism on Gaza. He further said that 80,000 tons of explosives were used on Gaza, and 45,000 are martyrs, including mostly children, old people and women. Despite this, warriors have not allowed the occupational forces to win on the land of prophets and the First Qibla.

Sirajul Haq said that Israel has been bombing civilians for a year to hide its defeat, the real question is the criminal silence, cowardice and neutrality of human rights organizations including the United Nations and especially the Islamic World Organization on the genocide of Gaza Muslims which human history will always remember in horrible words.
