LAHORE, Sep 8 (SABAH): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the unforgettable role of Pakistan Navy in the defense of the country will always be remembered.

In her message on Pakistan Navy Day, Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that she salutes the Pakistan Navy, which is responsible for protecting Pakistan’s maritime borders, and the nation pays tribute to the achievements of the veterans of the Pakistan Navy.

She said that the officers and jawans of Pakistan Navy are the nation’s pride. She saluted personnel of Pak Navy, serving to protect Pakistan’s sea boundaries.

She said that September 8 commemorates the sacrifices and extraordinary achievements of the leaders of the Pakistan Navy. In 1965 and 1971, the Pakistan Navy defeated the enemy and caused irreparable damage.

Maryam Nawaz said the unforgettable role of Pakistan Navy in defense of the homeland will always be remembered in history, Pakistan Navy is a talented and dynamic professional naval force in the region.
