Under the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore the 7th computer course completed
LAHORE, Sep 20 (SABAH): Under the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore the 7th computer course has been completed.
While addressing the certificate distribution ceremony, the Program Manager of the Education Department Sumera Chapra said that Pakistan is a lucky country as its majority population consists of youth but there is need to impart technical expertise to this youth so that they could play their role for the progress of the country and society. Sumera Chapra said that if this youth is not trained in right direction then this very youth could cause destruction of the society.
Sumera Chapra said that shrinking economy of Pakistan and increasing unemployment is matter of great concern, adding that immediate steps should be taken for resolution of this problem. She said that currently 64 percent population of Pakistan consists of youth, adding that the youth could be made eligible by providing proper education and training. She said that number of people living under the poverty line is increasing rapidly, which should be overcome.
Sumera Chapra said that like other countries, the hijab day is also observed in Pakistan every year, adding that traditionally observing some ceremonies during the year is not enough, adding that we should have to continuously teach our girls about the Islamic teachings so that they could be provided independent atmosphere without vulgarity.
On the occasion incharge computer institution Khalida Shahzad informed that so far seven badges have completed the computer course under the Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore, adding that the girls who have completed the computer course are earning honourable livelihood. She said that if we want to include Pakistan in the list of the developed countries then we will have to take full benefit from the capabilities of the youth.
