UN should fulfill its promise of providing opportunity of plebiscite to Kashmiris: Sirajul Haq


ISLAMABAD, Mar 16 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the United Nations should fulfill its promise of providing opportunity of plebiscite to Kashmiris.

This was stated by Sirajul Haq while talking to media persons on the occasion of attending the marriage ceremony of Raja Izharul Haq. He said that the Azad Kashmir government while playing the role of Base Camp should initiate practical steps while joining the federal government for the freedom of the occupied Kashmir. He said that the federal government while giving the roadmap of the freedom of Kashmir should give practical proof of being counsel of the Kashmiris. He said that the world while acknowledging the freedom struggle of Kashmiris should raise voice in their favor.

Sirjaul Haq said that for encouraging the leadership of occupied Kashmir, all the parties of Azad Kashmir should jointly talk to their counsel.

The marriage ceremony of social leader of the Azad Kashmir Raja Agha Muhammad Khan’s son and Naib Emir JI Azad Kashmir Raja Fazal Hussain Tabbassum’s nephew Raja Izharul Haq was attended by Emir JI Pakistan Sirajul Haq, former PM AJK Sardar Atique Ahmed Khan, Federal Secretary Defense Production Lieutenant General (retd) Humayun Aziz, former Emir JI AJK and former Chairman public accounts committee Azad Kashmir Abdul Rashid Turabi, former member Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Rifat Aziz, Convener Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir Ghulam Muhammad Safi, Naib Emir JUI Azad Kashmir Maulana Nazir Farooqui, Naib Emir JI Azad Kashmir Sheikh Aqeelur Rehman, Naib Emir JI Azad Kashmiri Noorul Bari and others. On the occasion all the guests while congratulating Raja Agha Muhammad Khan and his son on the marriage expressed well wishes.
