Two more relief flights from UAE for flood affectees received at Nur Khan Air Base, Rawalpindi


RAWALPINDI, Sep 03 (SABAH): In continuation of humanitarian air bridge established between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE), the two more relief flights scheduled for Saturday were received at Nur Khan Air Base, Rawalpindi.

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, 13 relief assistance flights from UAE have landed in Pakistan carrying food, medical supplies and tents etc.

He said that Pakistan is thankful to the government and people of UAE for showing solidarity and valuable support in this time of unprecedented crisis.

Meanwhile according to FO, Pakistan has so far received 31 flights from friendly countries carrying relief goods for flood victims.

According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, United Arab Emirates has sent total 13 flights, Turkiye 10, China four, Qatar two and one each by France and Uzbekistan.
