Two innocent patriot young men belonging to Garez Bandipura should be allowed to get settled in Azad Kashmir: Syed Salahiddin
MUZAFFARABAD, Sep 12 (SABAH): The Head of Hizbul Mujahideen and Chairman United Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that two innocent patriot young men belonging to Garez Bandipura area of the Occupied Kashmir should be allowed to get settled in Azad Kashmir; the plan to hand them over to India is tantamount to adding salt to the injuries of Kashmiri masses.
The Chairman of United Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin Ahmed expressed these views in a statement issued on Monday. “Incarcerated in the Central Jail Gilgit since June 2020, dwellers of the occupied Garez Bandipura namely Noor Muhammad and Feroz Ahmed are loyal citizens of the State of Jammu and Kashmir who came here after crossing the deadly line; as the State of Jammu and Kashmir is a unit on both sides of the line so moving across it is the basic and constitutional right of every citizen”, he added. Syed Salahuddin urged that the move of getting the Line of Control (LoC) crossed to evade Indian atrocities was not an unlawful activity rather a basic right of those who did that.
The Head of Hizbul Mujahideen added that the court’s verdict had also declared those youngsters innocent who had no relations with Indian intelligence agencies and their imprisonment for the last two years was an act of tyranny and it was mandatory to the concerned authorities and institutions to redress the brutal act. He underlined the fact that handing them over to the Indian authorities was equivalent to get them killed and the very act would add salt to the injuries of Kashmiris having detrimental effect to the Freedom Movement, which is not acceptable at all. Syed Salahuddin demanded that both youth Noor Muhammad and Feroz Ahmee should be facilitated for spending their lives in Azad Kashmir.
