Two-day Islamic Hospital Workshop held at Alkhidmat Complex Lahore under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan

LAHORE, July 24 (SABAH): A two-day Islamic Hospital Workshop was held at Alkhidmat Complex Lahore under Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan.

Motif behind holding this workshop was to train the office-bearers of Alkhidmat Hospital in accordance with the Islamic injunctions and jurisprudence so that they could run the system of their hospitals in the light of these injunctions.

In the workshop, President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Chairman Alkhidmat Health Foundation Dr. Zahid Latif, Secretary General Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Syed Waqas Jafri, In-charge Islamic Hospital Dr. Usman Zafar, Alkhidmat Hospital’s MS doctors from across the country, directors and office-bearers of Alkhidmat Health Foundation participated.

Addressing on the occasion, Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman was of the view that entire Muslim Ummah is responsible to pass their lives in the light of Islamic injunctions and added on these lines, “There is a need of transforming our hospitals system according to Islamic teachings so that Allah Almighty double the pace of recovery of patients.”

President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan further stated that human beings should remain attached with moral values during their professional life.

Expressing views, Dr. Zahid Latif stated that Alkhidmat Health Foundation along with providing health facilities across the country also holds training workshops for its own staff.

Purpose of these workshops was to train the staff so that general public could be provided with state-of-the-art medical facilities while exercising teachings introduced by Islam.

Sharing details further with the participants of the workshop they would bound the administration of our hospitals that they carry out dealings with the pharmaceutical companies in the light of Islamic injunctions.

Dr. Usman Zafar opined that a patient gets half recovered when he is treated by the doctor in the light of moral values that is why they would train the doctors to follow these lines. He also shed light on the way of enquiring about the patient while following Islamic teachings.
