Turkiye has a special & unique place in the heart of every Pakistani: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
ISLAMABAD, Dec 26 (SABAH): Irfan Naziroglu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Pakistan met with Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman in Islamabad.
On this occasion, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Turkiye has a special and unique place in the heart of every Pakistani. “Our history of friendship spans centuries. Pakistan and Turkey are connected in religious and cultural relations,” he remarked.
“Jamaat-e-Islami wants to strengthen mutual relations at public level. Muslims look to President Erdoğan with hope for solving the problems of the Ummah. Our values and challenges are shared,” he added.
He said that for the protection of the people of Gaza, Muslim countries should make a common policy and take public measures. Deputy Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Farast Shah and Director of Foreign Affairs Asif Luqman Qazi were also present on this occasion.
Irfan Naziroglu said that we want to cooperate with the people of Pakistan in every field. “Turkey and Pakistan need each other. We want to collaborate in education, trade, culture and vocational training projects,” he remarked. He thanked the Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and said that he would continue the consultation.
