Tsunami of PTI brought nothing but destruction in country: Sirajul Haq

LOWER DIR, Jan 12 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq has said the tsunami of the PTI has brought nothing but destruction in the country.

Addressing “Local Government Convention” in his hometown here on Wednesday, he said the people of the KPK had rejected the rulers who were trying to make delaying tactics to hold the LG polls in KPK and Punjab.

He also rejected the mini-budget, announcing the JI would keep fighting for public cause.

Holding equally responsible the former regimes for the destruction of the economy and institutions, he said the PML-N and the PPP and the PTI were the sides of the same coin. Their fighting, he added, was for the self-interests. He said the people wanted real change as the status quo parties failed to provide any relief to the poor.

Sirajul Haq said the PTI had handed over the country to the IMF and the World Bank. He said people of Pakistan were not ready to pay more for the luxuries of the ruling elite. He said the present and past government should have informed the masses where they spent billions of dollars of foreign loans. He said a country achieved in the name of Islam was being run on interest-based economy. He said the PTI befooled the masses in the name of Madina state.

The JI chief appealed the people to reject the tested parties in the elections and vote for honest and dedicated leadership. The PTI, he said, had lacked vision to run the country and it had been proved in three and half years. He said the JI was the only option left with the masses. If voted to power, he added, the JI will bring real change in the country.
