Three-day training workshop for Regional Coordinators of Alkhidmat Volunteer Department held

LAHORE, July 4 (SABAH): Three-day training workshop for Regional Coordinators of Alkhidmat Volunteer Department was held in Lahore.

Chairman Volunteer Management Department and Central Vice President Dr. Mushtaq Mangat, Regional President Central Punjab Ikramul Haq Subhani, Regional President Balochistan Engineer Jameel Ahmad Kurd, President Alkhidmat Lahore Engineer Ahmed Hamad Rasheed, CEO Alkhidmat Global Shahid Iqbal, Sanan Akbar, Tanveer Hussain, Hasan Butt and other officials including 50 regional coordinators from all over Pakistan participated.

On this occasion, various trainers gave training on personal and professional grooming. Talking to the participants, Dr. Mushtaq Mangat said that the growing trend of youth towards voluntarism is welcoming. He said volunteers associated with Alkhidmat are our capital. Gathering these young volunteers dedicated to the spirit of service on one platform and making them national capital is part of our goals, he added. 

He said in view of the changing conditions at global level, we try to adapt the volunteer team and volunteers to the new requirements. He said along with the personal grooming of the volunteer team and the volunteers, they are also given professional training so that in disasters, these volunteers can save the lives of the victims and also acquire the ability to take protective measures for themselves.
