Three accused involved in Friday’s despicable incident in Peshawar have been identified: Sheikh Rashid


ISLAMABAD, Mar 05 (SABAH): Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that the three accused involved in Friday’s despicable incident in Peshawar have been identified.

In a video message on Saturday, Sheikh Rashid commended the efforts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police and the investigation agencies in this regard. He said the police will nab these accused in a matter of one or two days.

The Minister also clarified that his ministry has not received any request from Nawaz Sharif for passport.

He said that there is hue and cry regarding the tabling of no-confidence motion, adding that still no application has been received and after receiving the requisition application NA speaker will summon the session, adding that no-confidence motion and requisition for summoning the session are two separate things and both are not one thing.

Sheikh Rashid said that there will be two or three days with the speaker and speeches will be held on the no-confidence motion for seven days and later on voting will be held. He said that opposition should not create misunderstanding in the masses, adding that the countries are not destroyed through floods, earthquakes or diseases but the countries are harmed through talks of rumors and unrest.  He said that near it is the procedure of one month or 24 or 26 days.

Sheikh Rashid said the opposition parties have faced defeat in the Assembly in the past and they will again face defeat if they moved the no-confidence motion. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete his five years tenure.

He said that Pakistan is going to move forward but it is unfortunate that while fanning the unrest and anarchy are hurdle in the way of this progress. He, however, regretted that some elements are trying to fan anarchy when the country is moving ahead.
