Those committing suppression against the Kashmiri people will face dreadful consequences: Syed Salahuddin Ahmed
MUZAFFARABAD, August 04 (SABAH): Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that those committing suppression against the Kashmiri people will face dreadful consequences. He said that the history is witness that suppression is suppression and when it increases, it is eliminated.
This was stated by Syed Salahuddin Ahmed while addressing the ceremony held in memory of the martyrs of Poonch. He said that in tehsil Sarankot of the district Poonch, the Indian forces had mercilessly martyred 19 family members of Hizb Commander Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh aka Gul Babar including 12 innocent children and four respectful ladies.
Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that on the midnight of 3rd and 4th August in 1998, the notorious police task force and personnel affiliated with the 9 para regiment jointly opened firing and martyred the family members of this brave commander. The martyrs include Hassan Muhammad, Zaitun Begum, Shahina Akhtar, Shaukat Muhammad, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Tahira Parveen, Yasmin Akhtar, Ahmaduddin, Sara Begum, Zarina Begum, Tasmina Akhtar, Javed Akhtar, Shagufta Akhtar, Lassa Sheikh, Zarina Bibi, Muhammad Iqbal, Shaina Kausar, Jabina Kausar and Tanvira. He said that the only crime of these martyrs was that they were the relatives of our great mujahid.
Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that tyrant occupational forces and their policy makers were of the view that in result of such tyrannies the freedom movement of Kashmir will end but the freedom movement is continued and will remain continued till the achievement of the destination. Syed Salahuddin Ahmed prayed for higher status in heaven for the innocent martyrs and expressed the belief that the sacred blood of the martyrs will not go in vain.
Naib Ameer Hizbul Mujahideen Saifullah Khalid, Shamsher Khan and Taj Ali Shah also addressed the ceremony and while presenting rich tribute to the martyrs of Poonch said that these martyrs revived the memory of the incident of Karbala. They said that prima facie the Yazeed of the time are occupant but the history is witness that this kind of characters has to become example while going in the dustbin of the history.
