There will be a peaceful sit-in in Islamabad on July 26, our goal is not to overthrow govt: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, July 23 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-i-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that there will be a peaceful sit-in in Islamabad on July 26 and our goal is not to overthrow the government.

Liaqat Baloch while discussing the review meeting of July 26 sit-in preparations in Mansoorah said that the sit-in will take place in Islamabad insha’Allah. Inflation, electricity, gas, unaffordable prices of petrol, IPPs and International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be the spokesperson of the people, he said.

He said the common man and the white-clad class wants the right to live and breathe with dignity, adding the Islamabad sit-in on 26th July will be peaceful. He said there will be a passionate protest by the disturbed people, adding our goal is not lawlessness, not overthrowing the government, capturing parliament or Supreme Court.

Liaqat Baloch said no disrespect, we want to get a dignified and dignified life for the people. He said inflation, utility bills, lawlessness, corruption and bribery are now unbearable for the people, adding the luxury mafia addicted to corrupt interest is now the burden of the country.

He said the Palestinian people are under oppression and fascism, adding after October 7, 2023, the oppressed Palestinians are standing steadfastly in the torrential rain of fire. The persistence, piety and determination of the Palestinians to win will succeed, he said and added Israel is a threat to the existence of world peace, its end is now inevitable.

In a meeting with the delegation of Kashmiri students, Liaqat Baloch said that the federal and Punjab government should solve the problems of students on a priority basis, adding they should not be deprived of incentives and facilities. The satisfaction of students will be useful for national unity and national security, he added.
