There is religious tolerance in Pakistan where every citizen has right to profess, practice & propagate his religion: CJP Gulzar Ahmed 


ISLAMABAD, Jan 03 (SABAH): A delegation of International Hindu Pilgrims from different countries who are on visit to Teri Temple Karak Pakistan, called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed in Supreme Court of Pakistan Islamabad on Monday.

The Chief Justice welcomed the delegation and said that there is religious tolerance in Pakistan where every citizen has right to profess, practice and propagate his religion.

He said the courts in Pakistan being the custodian of fundamental rights of the people have always been cognizant of rights of the minorities and protected their rights as enshrined in the constitution of Pakistan.

Patron-in-chief, Pakistan Hindu Council and Member National Assembly Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani apprised the Chief Justice of Pakistan about the delegation that they are hailing from various countries of the world and have come all the way to visit Teri Temple in Karak.

He also praised the steps taken by the Supreme Court as well as incumbent Chief Justice for protection of the rights of minorities in Pakistan and restoration of Teri Temple in Karak.
