There is need of grand national dialogue for ending poisonous polarization: Sirajul Haq
LOWER DIR, Jan 22 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that there is need of grand national dialogue for ending poisonous polarization. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami after coming into power on February 8 will bring all political parties round a table so foundation of stable Pakistan could be laid after leaving behind hatred among one another.
Sirajul Haq while addressing public gathering at his own constituency NA-6 Lower Dir, said that difference of opinion among individuals causes diversity and advancement of the society. He said use of abusive language and violence is result of anarchy and division which has become dangerous for previous few years.
He maintained that the ruling parties paid basic role in promoting political and society division and added Jamaat-e-Islami would put an end to this division. Candidate for provincial assembly Sahibzada Yaqoo Khan was also present on the occasion. In view of increasing population of the country, Sirajul Haq stressed upon the need of 40 years based economic strategy.
He said after being elected they would comply with their manifesto, adding that Jamaat-e-Islami will make best women universities at every division level while primary education would be aligned to modern lines. He added girls’ education would be declared compulsory.
He said that Jamaat-e-Islami would give attention to improvement of railways infrastructure and energy sector would be modernized. He said electricity steeling and line losses would be put an end, adding the citizens would be sent only those bills which actually they consume the electricity while in current bills there are a number of taxes included which were applied by the previous governments.
He went on to say that it is basically obedience to policies of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) while Jamaat-e-Islami would put an end to interest system from economy of the country by taking the country towards the goal of independence. He said now population of the country is 250 million which would be doubled in next two to three decades.
According to needs of population, provision of food, education, health and other basic facilities is responsibility of State which the former rulers did never fulfill, he said. At this time, 70 percent of population has not facility of clean drinking water, he added. Besides this, law is not being implemented and corruption is rampant, he said and added the former rulers committed corruption and made mockery of institutions of accountability. Jamaat-e-Islami has complete homework to sort out all these problems, he added. He asked the people to use their right to vote in favour of “Scale” and after coming into power, they would set a journey towards bright and prosperous Pakistan.
Sirajul Haq said that the people observed governments of Nawaz League, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and dictators, adding all of them increased unemployment, inflation and poverty. The former rulers committed bargaining on Kashmir issue and did not speak in favour of Palestinians. He added they promised to play their role in release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui but they did not do any effort in this regard.
