There is hustle and bustle in the ranks of the govt due to our sit-in: Liaqat Baloch
RAWALPINDI, August 04 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and head of the sit-in negotiation committee Liaqat Baloch has said that there is hustle and bustle in the ranks of the government due to our sit-in. He said that the businessmen, pensioners, youth, male and female students are becoming part of the Jamaat-e-Islami sit-in. He said that there is instability in the country and there is no writ of the government anywhere. He said that the flawed agreements with the Independent Power Producers (IPPs) have clutched the whole economy, adding that the masses want review on these agreements. Liaqat Baloch said that negotiations were not our desire but the government itself had approached us for this purpose, adding that JI has presented all demands and government should get them implemented, adding that the government’s technical committee itself said that the space is present.
This was stated by Liaqat Baloch while addressing the press conference on the 10th day of the Jamaat-e-Islami sit-in going on in front of Liaqat Bagh in Rawalpindi. On the occasion Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Ameerul Azim, Naib Emirs of JI Mian Muhammad Aslam, Dr. Osama Razi, Deputy Secretary General JI Azhar Iqbal Hassan and Secretary Information JI Qaiser Sharif and Emir JI Islamabad Engineer Nasrullah Randhawa were also present.
Liaqat Baloch said that practically the government is fleeing after negotiations, adding that the JI’s Haq Do sit-in is continued successfully. He said that PML-N, PPP and MQM could not stand in front of masses, adding that the government while not granting relief to the masses is throwing the country towards anarchy. Liaqat Baloch said that our sit-in has turned into national sit-in, adding that the business community in large numbers is participating in the sit-in, pensioners, youth, male and female students all are becoming part of this sit-in. He said that the sit-in has created hope and encouragement in the masses, adding that there is instability in the country and there is no writ of the government anywhere and there is no worth of the government in the hearts of the masses. He said that the deviation is being done from the purposes of the establishment of Pakistan.
Liaqat Baloch said that the sit-in is continued for the service of the masses and there is hustle and bustle in the ranks of the government. He said Emir JI Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman reached Karachi and he will address the nation from Karachi sit-in of JI.
Liaqat Baloch said that out sit-in has become the top trend in social media. He said that Pakistan is facing political and constitutional crisis, adding that in result of bulldozing the things in parliament there is worth of these things in the hearts of the masses. He said that the joke is being done with the economy, adding that all the employees are worried due to increase in taxes. He said that it is the demand of the nation that the reasonable tax should be collected.
