There is a dire need to renew & take forward the Kashmir movement: Syed Salahuddin

MUZAFFARABAD, August 24 (SABAH): Chief of the Hizbul Mujahideen and Chairman United Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that there is a dire need to renew and take forward the Kashmir movement which has taken almost blood of over 0.5 million Kashmiri leadership and nation for the sake of achieving success.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that Modi government has decided to bring BJP government in occupied Kashmir by all means. He said for this purpose, the government may transport even 5 million people from India as it is shame proof. Modi plans cannot be affected with the cries of people, protest demonstrations and with mere resolutions, he added.

Neither is there any legal or moral justification of so-called elections held under the shadow of 0.9 million guns nor it will be in the future, he said. The Kashmiris kept under the forced slavery have never used their right to franchise according to their free will, he said, adding indeed the slaves do not have any right to give vote. So-called elections in the valley are held to hoodwink the international community, further consolidate the army occupation and to divert attention from continuing brutalities.

Chief of united Jihad Council Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that unarmed Kashmiris are being gradually deprived of property rights and economic resources as was done with the Palestinians besides proportion of Muslim majority is being harmed rapidly.  He said that Muslims are being rapidly removed from the key positions of the State administration and their education is being badly damaged.

In these circumstances, it is troublesome and distressing that Pakistani  who are representatives and lawyers of the Kashmiri people are committing culpable negligence on taking effective steps which is going to produce dire outcomes thus there is a dire need of renewing and taking forward the Kashmir movement for the sake of achieving success.
