The decision to ban PTI is an example of fascism: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
LAHORE, July 15 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman termed the decision to ban Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) as an example of fascism and said that there is no room for these decisions in democratic societies.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while reacting on X (Twitter) to the government’s decision to ban PTI, said that the decision of the government formed on Form 47 to ban Tehreek-e-Insaaf is an example of fascism.
He said that this country has a constitution and courts, so there is no scope for these decisions in democratic societies.
It should be noted that the federal government has decided to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf and prosecute PTI’s founding chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan under Article 6. Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar while holding a press conference in Islamabad announced the government’s decision. Tarar said that the government will file a review appeal against the decision of the Supreme Court regarding specific seats.
