Terrorism is a global challenge & int’l community needs to fully cooperate with Pakistan: Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD, April 13 (SABAH): Interior Minister Senator Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi held meeting with US Congressional delegation comprising Congressmen Jack Bergman, Tom Suozzie and Jonathan Jackson in Islamabad on Sunday.

The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest with a focus on advancing cooperation in economy, trade, investment, security and counter-terrorism.

The Interior Minister said terrorism is a global challenge and international community needs to fully cooperate with Pakistan.

He said intelligence and technology sharing are of utmost importance in the field of counter-terrorism.

Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan’s immense sacrifices in the war against terrorism are matchless and this visit of US Congressmen will be significant in highlighting Pakistan’s role in counter-terrorism.

Applauding the participation of US delegation in the recently held Minerals Investment Forum in Islamabad, the Interior Minister said the government will provide all possible facilities to investors and complete protection for their investments.

Speaking on the occasion, the US delegation said Pakistan’s role in the war on terrorism needs to be fully highlighted.

The delegation acknowledged Pakistani community living in the United States as capable and proficient.
