Taxes hidden in the budget will take away the right to live from people: Liaqat Baloch
CHAKWAL/ATTOCK, June 23 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that hidden taxes in the budget will take away the right to live from the people. He said the clerks on payroll of International Monetary Fund (IMF) has imposed budget on the nation.
Liaqat Baloch while addressing the protest programs against electricity load shedding and inflation crisis in Talagang, Chakwal and Mehlwani Attock said that under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif, PDM two has become a recipe for torment and death for the poor people for the second time. He said the national budget is a lie and only a lie, adding that the salaried class, the daily wage earners are dying. There is no relief for agriculture and labor in the national budget, he said and added taxes hidden in the budget will take away the right to live from the people.
Liaqat Baloch said that the clerks on the payroll of the IMF have imposed the budget on the nation. He said the ruling and powerful elites are not ready to give up their indulgences and free meals and the blood of the people is being sucked for their indulgences. He said the people have awakened and now the people will hold the rulers to account.
He further said it cannot be that 95% of the people earn and five percent of the elite enjoy the blood and sweat of the people. On this occasion, Raja Arif Sultan, Naib Emir Karachi, Emir district Attock, Sardar Amjad Khan, Emir district Chakwal , Muhammad Ahsan, Emir Talagang , Malik Professor Tahir and leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, Maulana Abdul Sattar, Malik Iftikhar Awan and Malik Mahmood Awan were present.
