Target of increasing bilateral trade volume b/w Pak & Turkiye to $5 biln annually over the next 3 years is very much achievable: PM Shehbaz


ANKARA, June 04 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said that in his meetings with heads of leading Turkish business groups on Saturday, he highlighted the need for investment and trade in the fields of agriculture, energy, information technology and construction.

In a statement issued on Sunday on twitter PM Shehbaz Sharif said that exciting opportunities have emerged for collaboration especially after the historic Trade-in-Goods Agreement between Pakistan and Turkiye became operational on May 31 this year.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said that the target of increasing bilateral trade volume to $5 billion annually over the next 3 years is very much achievable. “Was glad to find discernible interest of the Turkish business community in building on the existing partnerships and establishing new ventures” he said.
