Syed Salahuddin Ahmed terms August 05 as the blackest day of Subcontinent history
MUZAFFARABAD, Aug 03 (SABAH): Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed while terming August 05 as the blackest day of Subcontinent history has appealed to Kashmiri people to hold full-fledged protest against illegal, immoral and inhuman acts of India on the day.
Syed Salahuddin Ahmed demanded of the government of Pakistan to take measures against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s anti-Pakistan as well as his policies against Kashmir while undertaking diplomatic drive at international level.
On the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal (Day of Exploitation) August 05 in a special message, Muttahida Jihad Council chairman expressing displeasure remarked that torchbearers of human rights showing negligence on the critical situation of Jammu and Kashmir which was further exacerbating the situation in the occupied valley.
According to media reports, he said that on August 05, the government of India abolished particular status of Jammu and Kashmir while abolishing Article 370 and tried to merge it into India while dividing it into two parts.
He further said after August 05, 2019, millions of Kashmiris were besieged; curfew was clamped; people were arrested and arson attacks were carried out in the occupied valley. After August 5, 2019, during these four years, more than one thousand Kashmiris were martyred, more than 2500 got injured and 31000 people were arrested in the occupied valley.
He said that Kashmiris were being fired from the services while more than 30,000 new employees were inducted. He said that in the occupied valley, religious organizations and media have been banned whereas the entire hurriyet leadership was languishing in jails.
Syed Salahuddin Ahmed expressing his optimism said “God-willing, Kashmiris struggle for freedom will be successful and that Jammu and Kashmir will be freed from the imposed occupation of India.”
