Syed Ali Geelani foiled India’s all last-ditch efforts against Kashmir till his last breath: Syed Salahuddin
MUZAFFARABAD, Sep 02 (SABAH): Chairman United Jehad Council and Chief of the Hizbul Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin Ahmed while paying glowing tributes to father of Hurriyet movement Syed Ali Shah Geelani, has said that he was such a iconic chapter and symbol of Kashmir’s freedom movement, that he kept foiling all the India’s aggressive acts executed against Kashmir till the last breath.
Syed Salahuddin expressed these views while telephonically addressing the historic conference titled Azm Ali Gilani Conference held under the auspices of Jammu Kashmir Peoples League at the Manakpian Muhajir Camp on Friday. He said that Syed Ali Geelani remained stick to his justified stand and India’s inflictions could not obstruct his struggle.
Neither the economic resources of occupational forces could buy his conscious nor did barbarities of Indian occupational forces bow him down before them as he was hero of the nation. Syed Salahuddin said that his struggle and sacrifices are torchbearer for us, adding that Syed Ali Geelani passed most of his life in Indian jails for the sake of freedom struggle. India wanted him to be silent but his voice is still echoing and it will remain as it is. He said that Geelani’s mission will be kept continue till the achievement of right of self-determination.
On this occasion, Chairman Development Authority Muzaffarabad Azhar Gillani and President Peoples League Muhammad Younas Mir paid tribute to Syed Ali Geelani and said that he was an epoch-making personality who did never admitted the slavery imposed by India.
Speakers were of the view that Kashmir dispute be resolved through trilateral discussion as it will be guarantee of peace throughout the world. They said that Kashmiris will foil all those endeavours with their blood, hatched by India to crush the freedom movement.
They further said that the Kashmiris are empowering the freedom movement with their blood. We congratulate the Hurriyet leaders who stand still steadfast with the freedom movement despite the fact they been put behind the bars,” they added.
