Suppressed Kashmiri people even today are standing with commitment in front of powerful & tyrant enemy: Syed Salahuddin


MUZAFFARABAD, April 02 (SABAH): Hizbul Mujahideen Chief and United Jihad Council Chairman Syed Salahuddin Ahmed has said that the suppressed Kashmiri people even today are standing with commitment in front of powerful and tyrant enemy. He said that in the tough conditions the Kashmiri youth are rendered their precious blood for the freedom movement. Syed Salahuddin Ahmed prayed that Almighty Allah may accept these immortal sacrifices and suppressed nation soon blessed with the blessing of freedom.

While addressing a ceremony organized in memory of the former operational chief of the Hizbul Mujahideen Shaheed Ghulam Hassan Khan aka Saiful Islam, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that Shaheed Ghulam Hassan Khan aka Saiful Islam was the great leader of the freedom movement, who while preferring martyrdom instead of bowing his head has entered his name in the brave commanders of the Islamic history. He said that his martyrdom has proved beacon of light for upcoming generations and every era and with the blessings of Almighty Allah will remain continue.

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that Shaheed Saiful Islam had enriched with the leadership qualities and prepared such brave people who greatly harmed the enemy and were succeeded in conveying the message to the enemy that mujahideen-e-Jammu and Kashmir could sacrifice their lives but could not bow their head. He said that Saiful Islam martyred on 2nd April 2003 and after passing 20 years the torch lit by him is spreading rays of light and tyrant and suppressor forces are worried that instead of using every tactic and suppression it is not only difficult but impossible to scratch the concept of freedom from the mind of Kashmiri nation.   

Syed Salahuddin Ahmed also paid rich tribute to commander of Doda, Shaheed Tariq Hussain aka Abu Zaid who embraced martyrdom on this same day in Keller, Shopian. The ceremony was also addressed by the Naib Emir of Hizb Saifullah Khalid, Shamsher Khan and Taj Ali Shah.
