Supply of inexpensive flour will be gradually extended to the whole province: Marriyum Aurangzeb


ISLAMABAD, June 08 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, supply of flour at rupees 40 per kilogram has been started in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Information Minister said that 100 mobile stores were setup to fulfill the promise of providing flour to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at affordable price.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said for this purpose, the province has been divided into Abbottabad and Peshawar zones. She said the supply of inexpensive flour will be gradually extended to the whole province.

Meanwhile Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb formally launched PTV’s Film Logo at a ceremony held in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the government is taking measures for revival of film industry. The Minister for Information and Broadcasting said objective of PTV film is to give exposure to youth. She said that for the first time film industry was given status of industry in 2018.

Marriyum Aurangzeb regretted that there is shortage of contents in PTV regarding children. On the occasion, she announced launching of another project titled Pak-Flex. She said all the material of PTV will be kept online in Pak-Flex.
