Strong leadership is the first requirement of any representative movement: Dr. Humaira Tariq

LAHORE/KARACHI, June 29 (SABAH): Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Dr. Humsira Tariq, addressed a gathering of central leaders, Nazimat Karachi, and district nazimats in Karachi.

She emphasized that leadership must have access to religious knowledge, wisdom, and expertise. Leaders must guide workers in all situations and provide mental comfort.

Dr. Humaira Tariq quoted Maulana Maududi (RA) as saying that strong individuals with a solid religious foundation are essential. She lamented the lack of religious education and urged workers to start teaching Shariah in their homes. She stressed the importance of Quranic education for a healthy society and highlighted the need for a direct connection with the Quran and Sunnah.

Dr. Tariq also emphasized the importance of educational institutions and the need for a system that aligns with the Quran and Sunnah. She concluded that the only solution to the current crisis is an education system based on Quranic values.

“Our educational institutions have been reduced to mere social sciences. Our education system should be based on the university model, which is the responsibility of the government, and Jamaat-e-Islami has been working on it for years.

Dr. Humsira Tariq said that the only solution to save ourselves from the devil (Dajjal) is an education system adorned with Quran and Sunnah. Such educational institutions are also necessary for boys. Regarding the spread of Jamaat’s invitation, she said that people should be familiar with Jamaat’s slogans, speeches, and writings. They should accept it as true and make it their own. Then trust will be built. These are the basic tasks to be done, and this is the path to a happy and prosperous Islamic Pakistan.”

Dr. Humsira Tariq is emphasizing the importance of a Quran-based education system and highlighting the need for trust-building and acceptance of Jamaat-e-Islami’s message for a prosperous Islamic Pakistan. Other leaders, including Deputy Secretaries Samina Saeed, Dr. Samiha Rahil Qazi, Atia Nisar, and Tayyaba Atif, were also present.”
