State Bank of Pakistan/Govt of Pakistan receives US $ 500 million from AIIB: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, Nov 29, (SABAH): Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has said that Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has transferred on Tuesday, as per their Board’s approval, to State Bank of Pakistan/Government of Pakistan

US $ 500 million as program financing.

This was statement by Ishaq Dar in a statement issued on twitter on Tuesday.

In a tweet, the Ministry of Finance said that Pakistan has received five hundred million dollars from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

The Ministry of Finance said the funds are deposited with State Bank of Pakistan and will augment our reserves.
