Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez urges int’l community to immediately suspend sending arms to Israel

MADRID, Oct 15 (SABAH): Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has urged the international community to immediately suspend sending arms to Israel, which continues to bombard the Gaza Strip as well as Lebanon, said a media report.

“The international community must immediately suspend the sending of weapons to Israel as Spain has done. For a very simple and overwhelming reason: without weapons, there is no war,” Pedro Sanchez said.

Sanchez said “the roadmap of the Netanyahu government is to destroy the alternative and the political solution of the two states”, adding that the creation of the two states is the only possible solution.

He urged an end to the war on Palestine and Lebanon and said that it is time for the international community to “wake up” and “act with determination”.
