Some media’s sections misreported Premier Kakar’s statement on electricity bills: Murtaza Solangi

ISLAMABAD, Sep 2 (SABAH): Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has said
that some sections of media have misreported the statement of Caretaker
Prime Minister Anwaar Ul Haq Kakar during an interaction with senior
Journalists on Thursday.

In a video statement, Information Minister Murtaza Solangi said at no point
the Prime Minister termed the higher electricity bills as ‘non-issue’.

Murtaza Solangi said the PM said the reports of chaos and anarchy were not
serious and that was a non-issue.

He said the Prime Minister not only sympathized with people but explained
the genesis of the issue, how it was being used for incoming elections but
also narrated how the caretaker government was trying to solve the tariff
issue without reneging on the international commitments.
