Sirajul Haq returns back to country after a three week visit of Saudi Arabia


LAHORE, April 15 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has returned back to the country after a three week visit of Saudi Arabia.

Sirajul Haq performed Umerah and on this occasion he held meetings with workers of Jamaat-e-Islami and other Pakistanis. He will keep on fulfilling responsibilities as Emir Jamaat-e-Islami till evening of April 18. On April 18, newly elected Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman would take oath and Sirajul Haq who remained emir Jamaat-e-Islami for 10 years will leave his responsibilities.

Newly-elected Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman will take oath for five years at Mansoorah Mosque after Maghrib prayer on Thursday, April 18.

Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameerul Azim has already convened meeting of consultative council. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman will preside over meeting of consultative council from April 19 to April 21.

On the occasion of this meeting, newly-elected emir will appoint new secretary general, naib emirs and other office-bearers of Jamaat-e-Islami with consultation of council. In the meeting of Shoora, important decisions would be made regarding country’s political situation and other issues.
