Sirajul Haq rejects 2% increase in interest rate on the order of IMF in presence of Federal Shariat Court decision

ATTOCK, Feb 26 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has rejected the decision of increase of 2 percent interest rate on the order of International Monetary Fund (IMF) in presence of Federal Shariat Court (FSC) decision. He said that the government should avoid further inviting the wrath of Almighty Allah to make the IMF happy instead of taking steps for eradication of interest based system. He said that posing no confidence by masses on the courts after the assemblies is a matter of grave concern, adding that the country could not move forward without establishing the real supremacy of the Constitution.  

This was stated by Emir JI Sirajul Haq while addressing the annual gathering of the Jamiat Talaba Arbia at the Jamia Talimat-e-Islamia Attock on Sunday.

Sirajul Haq said that it is clear stance of the JI that if military establishment, judiciary and Election Commission of Pakistan become neutral then corrupt troika and mafias will be eradicated. He said that until and unless there is same law for the weak and powerful no positive change could come in the country, adding that the movement against inflation will be taken to logical end. He said that the ruling parties have forgotten the national interest, adding that the ruling elite is hell bent upon destroying the institutions for their own interest. 

Sirjaul Haq said that whosoever came in last 75 years, fill the bank, fill the pocket and fill the jail movements continued for their own personal interests, adding that we say there is need to fill the stomach of the poor masses, who are unable to have two times meals. He said that the government should immediately announce decrease in the prices of the food items so that the common man could eat two time meals easily. He said that JI is the real voice and hope of masses, adding that the masses should give mandate to JI, we could put the country on the road of progress and prosperity. He said that if there will be law of Almighty Allah in the country then every person will be in peace.  

Sirjaul Haq said that JI will compete the corrupt troika at every front, adding that these three big parties have placed the handcuffs of IMF loans in the hands of every Pakistani and have made many upcoming generations indebted. He said PML-N, PTI and PPP still want to use courts, NAB and establishment for their own purposes.
