Sirajul Haq launches JI Youth election campaign, urging the young voters to reject the status quo parties & vote for genuine change

MULTAN/LAHORE, Dec 08 (SABAH): Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Sirajul Haq on Friday launched the JI Youth election campaign, urging the young voters to reject the status quo parties and vote for genuine change.
Addressing the gathering in Multan, Sirajul Haq emphasized the party’s vision to transform Pakistan into a corruption-free Islamic welfare state.

“Youth is the only hope for the country,” he said, adding the 65 percent young voters could write the future of the country on voting day. JI Youth President Rusal Khan Babar was also present on occasion. He urged a departure from dynastic politics, attributing the nation’s challenges to the past governments of PML-N, PTI, and PPP.
He asserted that the dictators’ rule had set the nation back by 35 years and remaining 40 years were destroyed by the so-called democratic governments of feudal and capitalists. He emphasized that real change could only occur if people chose to reject feudal lords and waderas on February 8. He said the establishment backed ladlas (blue eyed) could no longer win the polls. Haq also addressed election convention in Multan.

Meanwhile, at Liberty Chowk Lahore, JI Secretary General Ameerul Azim inaugurated the JI Youth Campaign, joined by JI Lahore chapter Emir Ziauddin Ansari, JI Youth Secretary General Shahid Naveed Malk, and JI Youth Lahore President Jibran Butt.

Azim identified the politics of electable as a significant obstacle to strengthening democracy, stating that this time, the public would reject parties that consistently came to power with the establishment’s support. He criticized aspiring prime ministers who had previously avoided court appearances by presenting medical certificates, emphasizing that the country no longer required leadership with health issues. Azim affirmed that JI would bring genuine change and establish a corruption-free state in Pakistan.

The JI Youth campaign aims to register 10 million new voters for JI before the Election Day. Emir Sirajul Haq announced plans to establish basic JI units at every polling station to prevent potential rigging.
