Sirajul Haq announces to carryout the ‘Gaza Million March’ tomorrow in Islamabad no matter what happens
ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has announced to carryout the “Gaza Million March” tomorrow (Sunday) in Islamabad no matter what happens. He said that the Islamabad administration should not earn worldwide defamation while creating hurdles in the way of the million march. He said that everyone has been invited in the march. Sirajul Haq said that after zohar prayer the Gaza Million March will be carried out and we will march towards the American Embassy, adding that no one could pressurize us. Sirajul Haq said that he will announce the future course of action in the million march.
This was announced by Emir JI Sirajul Haq while addressing an emergency press conference at the local office of the JI along with Deputy Chief of the JI and former MNA Mian Muhammad Aslam, Emir JI North Punjab Dr. Tariq Saleem and other JI leaders.
Sirjul Haq said that on Friday Israel started the ground attack on Gaza and Israel has closed Masjid-e-Aqsa for the worship of the Muslims. He said that from last 20 days Israel was carrying out aristrikes on Gaza but United Nations meeting was not being held, adding that on the 21st the meeting of the UN was held but instead of ceasefire, Israel started ground battle in Gaza. He said that in the current situation when the Palestinian mothers and children are looking towards us, it is imperative on us to respond their call. He said that JI has announced Gaza March tomorrow (Sunday) at 2:00 PM in Islamabad while responding on the call of the suppressed Palestinian brothers. He said that preparations regarding the march are at full swing, adding that the administration started the action against our peaceful protest, which has no reason.
Sirajul Haq said that Islamabad administration should not create hurdles in the way of peaceful march, adding that if embassy is of America then roads in front of it are ours, adding that we will protest in front of American embassy. Sirajul Haq said that we will not request the release of arrested Emir JI Nasrullah Randhawa but the march will be carried out at any cost, adding that the march will be peaceful.
