Sindh govt imposes smart lockdown in Karachi locality
KARACHI, Jan 02 (SABAH): Sindh government has imposed a micro-smart lockdown in a Karachi locality after 12 persons of one family were confirmed to be carrying the omicron variant of covid-19.
As per the notification, medical stores and bakeries are exempted from the lockdown whereas all other normal activities will be suspended in the affected areas.
Furthermore, as per the government there will be complete restriction on pillion riding on a motorbike in Gulshan Iqbal’s block 7 till 14th of January.
The officials are all time active on the strict recommendations of the health department to control the spread of omicron virus. All the necessary actions are being taken into consideration and the citizens are advised to follow SOPs. Officials laid stress on wearing masks as advised.
